Buy yourself a designer pair of sunglasses and lift your spirits

For those who don't know what retail therapy precisely is, it is nothing but shopping with an intention to lift up the spirits of the buyer. Change is a constant phenomenon and when events like break-up, divorce, friction in relationships happen they tend to send the affected person in a state of trauma or shock. To bounce-back from such conditions, by any means is no child's play. Hence, to treat such situations, people opt for different solutions. Retail therapy is one of them.

It has been seen people resort to such kind of alternative therapies when they are undergoing a painful personal life experience, like a break-up or some other kind of disturbance. But does it really works? Let’s find out.

Different types of sunglasses define different types of looks for a single personality. However, it rests on the buyer's decision which kind of looks i.e. pair of glasses he/she wants to settle for. Normally, after undergoing a disturbing phase of life, people tend to opt for goggles that help them look mean and 'I-don't-give-a-damn' look. In other cases, people preferring for a more sombre pair of glasses have also been seen.

To substantiate the above-mentioned observations, medics have also confirmed that buying a Roberto Cavalli or a Dolce & Gabbana designer pair of glasses can do wonders in situations like the above.

What more, a new look, thanks to Designer Sunglasses brands like Dior Sunglasses, Gucci or Versace helps the person in showing altogether a different side of his/her personality to people around.

Surprisingly, most people abhor the addiction of shopping simply because it bores a hole in one's pocket. However, in this case it definitely needs to be hailed for the positive effect it brings in a person’s life.

Retail therapy is an in-thing and people resorting to it see no harm in spending more just to lift their moods up. After all, it is our life that we value more than anything else.

Designer Sunglasses: A symbolism of affluence or merely an eye-protection gear?

For the urban crowd, sporting the latest Versace, Roberto Cavalli, Dior or Dolce & Gabbana designer pair of sunglasses is no big deal. After all, in this 21st century, style does matter. However, fashionable accessories like designer sunglasses have always been known to be a symbolic representation of particular man's or woman's affluence. Surprisingly, the tendency of opting for stylish eye gears has even surpassed the comfort factor. Yes, modern-day buyers are willing to compromise on the comfort factor to look stylish and impressive. Interestingly, the chief credit of the propagation of this school of thought goes to people who hail from the rich and affluent sections of the society. This, in turn, is instigating manufacturers to focus more on this sort of clientele. The idea is further substantiated by the thought of carving a niche of their own in the market. However, amid this all, the basic importance of sunglasses is lost i.e. of providing protection to eyes.

Often people can be seen pressing shopkeepers for showing them high-quality stuff but does this principle of shopping really work in real-life? I don't think so! Ultimately, it all boils down to one thing - how much money you have in your wallet at that point of time? We all know that not everyone in the world can afford to buy a Gucci Sunglasses, Giorgio Armani and Ray Ban Sunglasses. But people who have ample cash in their wallets or a fat bank balance to support their transactions can definitely afford a smile after these expensive buys.
In fact, it is these purchases that categorically demarcate different sections in the society, broadly on the basis of incomes. If one spots a guy or a gal wearing the latest Dolce & Gabbana Sunglasses, he or she will either automatically be tagged as rich and classy besides having a fine taste in fashion accessories.

The whole idea is that one should be able to recognise the pros of a product and not just concentrate on the brand name alone.

Designer sunglasses- Should you buy them or not?

So the sun is out and you are up and about. It is time to go out. OK, leaving the jingle part aside, it’s quite obvious that you should know about the serious damage inevitable upon your eyes while venturing out in the scorching sun. There’s more than half a chance that the blistering sunrays searing down upon you fry half of your body and leave you feeling like roasted chicken. Also if you’re ‘lucky’ enough to live in a snow-bound area, the multiple glares from the reflection of sunlight may hurt your eyes into oblivion. In such cases, eye protection is absolutely vital ‘coz your lovely big eyes are the most sensitive and delicate part of your body.

The universal solution that you look towards? Of course- sunglasses. Sunglasses to protect your eyes. Sunglasses to look stylish. Now the question arises, should you be going for the expensive designer sunglasses or the relatively cheaper prescription/correction sunglasses?

Well, folks the answer is clear, you gotta have the big bucks for the designer ones. But, on the other hand- which is a better return for your money? Yep, you guessed it right- designer sunglasses. Since most of the bigwig brands like Ray-Ban, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci Sunglasses and the likes are involved in the luxury sunglass manufacturing, you can be sure that you are buying the highest quality product. Since these fashion houses are considered the epitome of style, they always employ the latest technologies to turn out only the best stuff in the market.

You may ask why don’t I just buy cheap prescription shades and show off to my friends? Yes, you can do that fellas, but, remember, you would be compromising on the style quotient. Also, there is no guarantee when your ‘cheap’ sunglasses may wear out. There have been incidents where people have trashed their prescription shades citing poor quality and low satisfaction. So, what may seem cheap to you can turn out to be quite expensive with increasing ophthalmic expenses, visits to doctor etc.

For self-confessed fashionistas, sporting the latest Designer Sunglasses helps in creating a stylish image in the eyes of public and boosts the self- confidence level to a high. Then there’s always the brand value which earns you the envy and admiration of many. Brand matters, doesn’t it?
